Crafting!
Since Minifee`s have smaller feet than regular MSD`s, I only had few shoes that fits Stella nicely without being too big. Loving crafting, it was obvious to make a pair. I used white faux leather, white felt and thick, black boot leather as a sole. They fit on nicely but are just a tad snug so that there are no room for socks but the pattern is easily adjusted to fit with them too. Socks were my first attempt and I am pretty happy how they turned out.
New faceups
Like I wrote in my earlier post, since I discovered the hobby again I felt like my girls personalities and styles did not quite fit anymore so I decided to star out fresh.
Nekome had her original Luts faceup and to me it looked too pale and simple so after considering a while, I wiped it off. After doing that I noticed she had seam lines on the sides of her head (marked with red arrows on the picture) and because I am a perfectionist, I had to sand them away. Much better! The seam lines makes me feel yikes because I want my dollies to look realistic and how many human have you seen with seam lines, eh? (For the same reason I dislike tan dolls ´cause I can`t remove the seams!). I also commissioned a new pair of eyes to her, stunning Enchanted Doll Eyes in gorgeous violet colour.
But without further blabbing, here are the pictures:
Nekome BEFORE
Nekome AFTER
Moving on to Stella (formerly Coraline), her faceup was one of my earliest attemps and allthough I had made it with care, it was too quite blank and soulless. Instead of wiping it all off, I continued it with braver colours and fuller lashes. I don`t like the eyebrows I did back then but didn`t want to start all over again so I left them as they are at least for now. I will re-do the faceup sometimes but not for a while. She had new eyes too from ED, but I did not have them at the time I took the pictures of the faceup.
Stella BEFORE
Stella AFTER
The last there was Mimi the cat, who`s face-up was barely a faceup at all, so little had I done. Again, I was bolder and among other things I gave her bigger nose. I think she looks sweet and definitely has more character now.
Mimi BEFORE
Mimi AFTER
So, what do you think?
Now when the faceups are done I can start sewing clothes to match the new personalities. More about that later so stay tuned!

The first posting and Welcome!
For a very long time have I been about to publish this new dolly blog of mine but because I am such a perfectionist, I didn`t want to do it before I had actually something to show about. But now I do - and quite a lot in fact - so let`s get started shall we!
Okay, so first of all a little about my dolly history:
I started the doll hobby in 2006 and was very active for a couple of years. My first doll was Angelregion Littlefair Ren girl (MSD) called "Lumia" . Little less than a year from that I bought my second doll, an SD sized woman Luts Delf Soony, "Nekome". She was the first and the biggest dolly-crush I had, I could say my Grail Doll, so I was thrilled when I found her from the DOA`s marketplace with a very good price. My third doll, and the first from the Tiny category, was Pipos Baha cat, "Mimi". The fourth doll was Fairyland`s Minifee Ryeon, "Coraline", being the last one before my doll hobby break due to my studies. I didn`t do anything with my dolls for about six years but then again in the December 2014 it hit me again and I discovered the joy of dolls once again.
Back then, I hadn`t really bonded properly with Nekome nor Coraline, and I lost the interest on child-like MSD which Lumia was. So although Lumia was my first doll and had been very dear to me, I sold her away. I was also bothered by the amount of dolls I had since I`v always felt that quality is more important than quantity. I`d say that dolls more than five or six is too much for me. But anyways, because I still loved Nekome and Coraline, I decided to re-create them both. I kept the name of Nekome but change Coraline`s to Stella. The transformation is still on progress but I am very happy to see how they are slowly getting new personalities and distinctive styles (more of them and pictures later).
Mimi the cat on the other hand has been a bit of a mystery to me. Why? Because although she is cute (that as the only reason I bought her in the first place), I am not sure do I have a place for her in my group anymore. I have been thinking of selling her but haven`t decided anything yet. Let`s see.
Despite of my rule for not having too many dolls, I have ordered two more (eeeek!). BUT remember that I sold one and might be selling another, so all in all the head number won`t actually increase. What dolls the new ones are? That`s a secret for now but will introduce them as soon as they are ready for their blog debut.
So, that was shortly the background of my hobby. Now I have lots of new plans and I am bursting to let them out for you to see. As I LOVE crafting, I am constantly searching for new things to create along with new technigues and materials to use. I tend to be a bit slow sometimes, so bare with me, but I hope that the results will be worth the wait. ;)
Welcome on board!
